Brothers! What pains have you downloaded
What would you like of us that we don't know?
So that you grumble when it’s your turn to treat us
Or complain that we seek too much!

If I were Prime Minister Of Jamaica..
Deleting White-Superior, Black-Inferior from the minds of black Jamaicans
Would be an immediate imperative to end Black On Black Crimes.
It is a part of the Willy Lynch psychology that was used to conquer and divide us
And automatically keep us adoring and putting all races above our own.

The New York reggae scene – specifically concerts, promoters and the paying public seem to be in a flux. The last spate of shows did not go well. Does the problem lie at the feet of greedy promoters, lackadaisical artists or a jaded public? Recently held local events failed to generate the kind of buzz guaranteed to keep all concerned happy. In fact, the word on the streets is that the award-winning Irie Jamborie; normally the biggest outdoor reggae festival in the east will not take place this year. One can only surmise that the cancellation comes hot on the heels of the visa clamp down which has affected many Jamaican dancehall artists.

Sitting on the porch of my host family's home one Sunday afternoon during my recent trip to Hagley Gap, I glanced up from working on my computer. I was distracted from my work (not really hard to do on a peaceful Sunday afternoon) by a group of boys playing with their toy cars. They were in the midst of repairing a car that had lost a wheel and discussing the quality of the repair underway.

The Creator will never unite us “just because”; unity won’t happen until we ask for it. We must realize that we lack and desire only unity. The desire for unity stands opposite to all the other desires that arise, desires whose purpose is to obscure our yearning for unity.

The trumpet has sounded my country men all
So awake from your slumber and answer the call
The torch has been lighted, the dawn is at hand
Who joins in the fight for his own native land

A question I received: If the Creator gives us the point in the heart and takes us through all the states Himself, then why does He get angry?

I just returned from a trip to Boston where I was warmly welcomed by some of our largest and earliest donors. After giving updates on Blue Mountain Project programs and activities, I was greeted by a barrage of insightful questions, suggestions and offers to help a people whose lives are so different from their own.

It should be abundantly clear to all well thinking Jamaican that the current political order, dominated by the PNP and the JLP, is busted and is incapable of delivering good governance and economic development. The recent admission by Prime Minister Golding that he sanctioned the scheme to lobby the American government in relation to the extradition matter concerning Christopher ‘Duddus’ Coke, has confirm what many has posited, that Jamaica’s two major political parties are more interested in protecting their political interest rather than the interest of the country. The integrity and the legitimacy of the political order is at an all time low as neither of the two political tribes have the moral authority to address critical national concerns of crime, corruption and garrison politics.

Thoughts , dreams and aspirations...
They are here to wipe it out,
Is it your brother?
Or your cousin?
